Communications Director: Karyn Clarke
Karyn’s background is in Education, Training & Business. She currently owns a website development and SEO agency and provides coaching services to help experts write a nonfiction book in 21 days and use it to launch a new career as a speaker or coach.
Away from work, Karyn volunteers with the Lisa Harnum Foundation (freedom from domestic abuse), Australian Resource Centre for PTSD and The Hills Winter Sleep Out (supporting the homeless).
She joined AFFMA’s Board to be part of the team helping AFFMA to move forward because of her compassion for the plight of refugees.
Karyn offers AFFMA pro bono website services and a wealth of knowledge, skills and experience in using communications technology within the office and beyond.
For leisure, Karyn enjoys coffee with friends, reading, opera, films and spending time with her 5 grandchildren.
Public Relations Manager: Ammar Hamad
Ammar Hamad is a professional healthcare manager and has a Bachelor Degree in Biomedical Engineering, a Master of Business Administration, a Master of Public Health, a Master in Health Management and a Graduate Certificate in Australian Migration Law and Practice.
Currently, he is volunteering at Association of Fee Free Migration Agents as a Public Relations Manager and Board Member.
He joined AFFMA in 2016 as a Public Relations Manager and Board to take AFFMA to the next step because he has a genuine interest in the plight of refugees.
He thinks he can offer AFFMA his extensive knowledge and experience in the field of management and public relations to improve its public awareness as a strong successful player of this special charity domain.
In his free time, Ammar enjoys travelling, reading, watching documentaries and cooking.
